Some of the leading members of the Crystal Palace hierarchy are in favour of replacing Roy Hodgson as the Eagles boss, according to the Daily Mail.

Crystal Palace are going through a rough patch as they have only won one game out of their last 12 league matches under Hodgson.

It has been suggested that the veteran tactician is under pressure due to the club’s recent form, despite Palace having played Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool over the last four games.

And former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has been heavily linked with replacing Hodgson at Crystal Palace.

On Wednesday, Hodgson’s side suffered their ninth defeat of the ongoing league campaign after conceding a late winner at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.

In the aftermath of the Chelsea defeat, it has been claimed that some of the leading members of the Crystal Palace hierarchy think that a change is necessary at the club.

The Crystal Palace hierarchy also admire Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna, under whom the Tractor Boys are eyeing promotion this season, as well as Cooper.

The Eagles are set to take on Brentford on Saturday and it remains to be seen whether Hodgson will be able to turn things around at the south London outfit to save his job.
