Bayern Munich could step up their pursuit of Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capua, in light of serious interest from Everton.
The Bavarians are long-time admirers of Capua and have kept an eye firmly on his progress at Toulouse.
Now, according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Capua could be invited to train with Bayern Munich as the German club look to put themselves in pole position for his signature.
Capua is being strongly chased by English Premier League side Everton, who are thought to have made recruiting the midfielder their top transfer priority.

However, Toulouse want to keep hold of the 24-year-old until at least the end of the season.
And that could well see any deal postponed until the summer.
It remains to be seen where Capua will end up, with some interest also coming from West Ham.
Turning down an offer from Bayern Munich though would be difficult for any player.
