Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has confirmed via Twitter that he has signed for Everton on a season-long loan deal.
The powerful Belgian forward was being chased by West Brom, the club at which he enjoyed a fruitful season last term.
But it is Everton and Roberto Martinez who have won the day and will be able to call upon Lukaku's services for the remainder of the season.
The former Anderlecht man is keen for regular first team football this season and, with competition fierce at Stamford Bridge, has opted for Everton.
