AC Milan and Chelsea could be shaping up for a signing battle, only this time for a coaching role as Andriy Shevchenko became linked with a return to football.
Shevchenko retired from football last year and the former AC Milan and Chelsea striker was slated for a foray into politics in the Ukraine.
However, he was spotted in the stands at Milan's clash against Lazio yesterday and, according to Sportmediaset, is being considered for a spot inside Massimiliano Allegri's backroom staff.
Chelsea are never out of the picture, however, with Shevchenko watching the game alongside his former club's owner Roman Abramovich.

It was Abramovich who had secured Shevchenko's signing from Milan back in 2006 when Jose Mourinho was in charge of the Blues.
However, the Ukrainian found life difficult under Mourinho's successor Luiz Felipe Scolari and was loaned back to Milan before making his way to boyhood club Dynamo Kyiv.
Shevchenko's visit to the San Siro saw Milan pegged back for a 1-1 draw against Lazio, with his ex-team mate Kaka opening the scoring and Mickael Ciani getting the equaliser.
