A number of major European clubs are sure to be on alert with the news that midfielder Mathieu Valbuena wants to quit Marseille in the upcoming January transfer window.
According to French outlet Le 10 Sport, the talented midfield fulcrum is keen to head to another of Europe's elite in January and Marseille are willing to sell the 29-year-old.
The Ligue 1 giants are thought to be looking for a fee of around the €12m mark to part with Valbuena, who should have no shortage of admirers.
Already Spanish side Atletico Madrid are thought to have made contact over signing the Frenchman, while Barcelona were linked with the midfielder over the summer.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is another firm fan of Valbuena, having remarked: "He has become essential [for France], very comfortable in small spaces.
"He is also a player who can take responsibility."
Valbuena has been at Marseille since 2006, having switched to the Stade Velodrome outfit from Libourne.
At international level the diminutive midfielder, who stands just five foot six inches tall, has won 30 caps.
