The agent of Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette has confirmed that clubs are interested in his client, with Arsenal having seen a €10m bid rejected, but claimed that the Frenchman won't be leaving Les Gones this month.

Arsenal have been sparked into life after Theo Walcott suffered a season-ending injury, leaving boss Arsene Wenger searching for another attacking solution.

Wenger believes Lacazette fits the bill and offered €10m for the 22-year-old; not enough for Lyon, who said no.

Talking to Eurosport, Lacazette's agent David Venditelli confirmed that "some clubs have entered into a discussion with Lyon", over the forward, without revealing their identity.

And the Lyon man's representative then appeared to firmly close the door on a move for his client in the current transfer window, remarking: "Alexandre will not leave this winter."

Lyon are not keen on losing the 22-year-old and have shown a willingness to resist clubs interested in their starlets, most recently turning down a €17m offer from Napoli for midfielder Maxime Gonalons.
