Chelsea have lodged and enquiry with Paris Saint-Germain about the availability of Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The Blues have been holding talks with the French champions over the sale of David Luiz, with a bid having been accepted and the Brazilian defender being put through a medical in his homeland, where he is preparing for the World Cup.
And according to Sky Italia, during the course of the discussions the Blues have enquired about Lavezzi.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is thought to be keen on signing Lavezzi this summer as he looks to add to his squad for next season.
The Blues face a battle to sign the Argentine though, with PSG not in any mood to allow his departure.
Indeed, the French champions are plotting a contract extension for Lavezzi, which would see him earn €5m per year at the Parc des Princes.
