Bacary Sagna will sign a lucrative three-year deal with Manchester City when his Arsenal contract expires.

That Sagna is heading to the Premier League champions has been mooted for some time, but the details of his contractual arrangement have remained unclear.

According to Tutto Mercato, Sagna will sign a three-year deal which will see him earn £4.5m per year.

The France international right-back recently confirmed that he does not intend to extend his contract at Arsenal and is looking for a new challenge.

That should come at the Ethiad Stadium where Sagna will boost an already strong squad that won the Premier League title this season.

The defender, who joined Arsenal from French outfit Auxerre in 2007, helped the Gunners end their nine-year trophy drought this year by winning the FA Cup.

He is now focusing on the World Cup with France.
