Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are making the running in the race to sign highly rated Lille midfielder Adama Traore.

Voted the Best Player at the recent FIFA Under-20 World Cup, Traore has turned heads with his mature performances and now has a who's who of Europe's elite on his tail.

Today Traore turns 20, but it remains to be seen whether he will celebrate his 21st birthday as a Lille player.

According to L'Equipe, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have all been captivated by Traore and are looking to tempt him to England.

The midfielder turned out for Mali at the Under-20 World Cup, scoring three goals and providing his team-mates with three assists as the African nation recorded a finish of third.

Lille feel in a good position to resist Traore's departure however, as the youngster is under lock and key with a contract which runs until the summer of 2019.

Last season Traore made 20 appearances in Ligue 1 for Lille, scoring two goals.
