Real Madrid want to talk to Martin Odegaard's father before signing off on a loan move for the Norwegian midfielder this summer.
Odegaard has offers on the table from clubs in France, Germany and Scotland, while Real Madrid have been keenest on him heading to a side in La Liga to build his experience in Spanish football.
It has been claimed that Scottish champions Celtic have all but won the race for Odegaard, who is aiming to reunite with his former coach at Stromsgodset in the shape of Bhoys manager Ronny Deila.
But Real Madrid have not yet signed off on a loan move for the midfielder.
And according to Spanish radio station Cadena COPE, they first want to hold talks with Odegaard's father.
