Getafe have contacted Real Madrid about the possibility of signing Celtic target Martin Odegaard next summer, according to Spanish daily AS.

Los Blancos beat a number of top European clubs to snap up the 17-year-old from Stromsgodset amidst much hype in January.

The youngster, who made his first team debut for Real Madrid under then manager Carlo Ancelotti last season, is however, yet to make an appearance under present boss Rafael Benitez in the present campaign.

The Norwegian international was also overlooked from Real Madrid’s Champions League squad this season.

As a result, Odegaard is considering leaving the capital club on a loan deal in January, with Celtic, Getafe and Rayo Vallecano all likely to be keen to sign the starlet.
