Chelsea linked defender Kalidou Koulibaly has revealed that he could soon speak to Antonio Conte if contract talks with Napoli don’t progress in the coming days.
The Senegal international is said to be one of the defensive targets for Conte this summer as the incoming Chelsea manager looks to reshape his squad for next season.
And with another target, Antonio Rudiger, suffering a serious knee injury, Chelsea could make a move for Koulibaly soon, and the defender revealed that he could start talking with other clubs if contract talks with Napoli fail to progress.
He also added that he could soon speak with Conte about a possible move to Chelsea in the summer.
When asked whether he has spoken to Conte, the defender told French sports daily L’Equipe: “No, I have not spoken to him, but it may soon happen.

“And if nothing happens at Napoli, I will start contacting other clubs.”
On the attraction of playing in England, Koulibaly said: “Yes, it is an attraction wherever you go.
"The game might also suit me, but I like Italy.
"I am not pressing to leave and I hope to sign a new contract with Napoli or we will proceed to other solutions.
“Napoli also want to make money.”
The 24-year-old has amassed 81 appearances for Napoli over the last two seasons and has a contract until 2019 with the club.
He has also earned six caps for Senegal on the international stage.
