Napoli have been in touch with the entourage of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur midfield target Adrien Rabiot to discuss a proposed switch from Paris Saint-Germain.
Rabiot has courted controversy in France in recent weeks after he declined to be part of the reserve list of players for Didier Deschamps’ France squad for the World Cup.
The midfielder has become increasingly unpopular in his homeland and there are suggestions that he is prepared to leave PSG this summer to escape the growing spotlight on him.
Premier League outfit such as Arsenal and Tottenham have retained an interest in him, but concrete moves for the midfielder are coming out of Italy.
According to Italian outlet CalcioNapoli24, Rabiot’s entourage have been contacted by Napoli and the Serie A giants are in constant touch with his people.
