Miazga has made just two senior appearances for Chelsea since joining the club in 2016 and has been on loan spells at Vitesse, Nantes and Reading.

With only three days left in the window, Chelsea are keen to loan the American out again as he is not in the vicinity of Frank Lampard’s plans.

Anderlecht are interested in signing him and he is one of the defenders the club are considering securing a deal for in the next 72 hours.

According to Belgian daily La Derniere Heure, the Belgian giants have opened talks to sign the American defender from Chelsea.

Anderlecht are eyeing signing him on loan for a season and are keen to include an option to buy the centre-back next year.

Miazga is keen on the move to Belgium and is said to have held talks with Anderlecht manager Vincent Kompany over the phone.

The defender is waiting for the two clubs to work out the agreement before he can travel to Belgium.
