The 22-year-old right winger is on loan at Lyon and has impressed with his performances this season for the French giants.

Tete has bagged six goals and five assists in his 19 appearances so far this season for Lyon.

The Brazilian has an agreement in his contract that enables him to end the loan early if he finds a club to join.

Several European clubs, including Premier League outfits Everton, Leeds, Leicester City and Nottingham Forest, are claimed to be interested in acquiring his services.

The Yorkshire club signed Georginio Rutter during the current transfer window, but they are still looking to add depth to their attacking line-up and were said to have identified Tete as a possible option.

However, it has been claimed that Leeds are not in the mix for Tete.

It has been suggested Jesse Marsch is content with their attacking recruitment in the transfer window and working on a deal to sign Weston McKennie from Juventus.
