The 20-year-old defensive midfielder joined Manchester City in the winter transfer window from Argentinian outfit Velez Sarsfield.

Manchester City wanted to send Perrone out on an immediate loan, but the player insisted on staying with Pep Guardiola’s side as he was not convinced of the potential destinations.

Now Manchester City are again exploring a move for the young player to gain experience this summer.

Las Palmas, who earned promotion last season to La Liga, are interested in taking the Manchester City star to Spain.

According to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, Las Palmas are hoping to be able to wrap up a deal for the midfielder this week.

Perrone is claimed to be fully in favour of the move to Las Palmas and is keen to head to the Canary Islands.

Last season, Perrone made his Premier League debut in Manchester City’s 4-1 win against Bournemouth.

Perrone is highly rated at Manchester City and it remains to be seen whether Las Palmas will be able to seal a deal for the midfielder this week.
