Newcastle United have confirmed their starting eleven to welcome Bournemouth to St James’ Park in the Premier League this afternoon.
Eddie Howe’s side have now won two of their last three league games to build some momentum and spark hopes of a finish in a European spot.
Providing the opposition today are Howe’s former club Bournemouth, who sit in 13th spot in the league and arrive on the back of a 3-1 loss at Fulham and without a league win since Boxing Day.
The Cherries did though beat Newcastle 2-0 in the earlier meeting between the two teams this season.
Martin Dubravka is in goal for Newcastle today, while at the back Howe picks Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schar, Sven Botman and Dan Burn.
In midfield, Newcastle field Sean Longstaff, Bruno Guimaraes and Lewis Miley, while Miguel Almiron, Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes lead the attack.
If changes are required at any point in the 90 minutes then Howe has options to turn to off the bench and they include Matt Ritchie and Jacob Murphy.
