Feyenoord boss Arne Slot has admitted that he takes pleasure in working with Newcastle United loanee Yankuba Minteh because of his potential.
Minteh, who joined Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, is on loan with Dutch outfit Feyenoord.
The 19-year-old winger is in good form for Feyenoord, as he has scored four times in the last three league games for the Dutch outfit.
Minteh impressed Slot with his display against Heracles Almelo and the Feyenoord boss admits that he likes to work with the Newcastle loanee because of his potential.
Slot indicated that Minteh has speed, which is one of the crucial attributes of a top player.
When asked about Minteh, Slot told a press conference: “It’s always nice to work with guys like that when you see the potential they have.
“Top players often have one thing always and that is speed of thought or speed of running.
“In his case, it is the latter, and he does make a nice development in that, I think.”
The Newcastle talent has scored seven goals in 19 league games, assisting three goals in the process.
All eyes will be on whether the Magpies keep hold of him in the summer or send him on another loan.
