Nottingham Forest loan star Jonathan Panzo has not done enough to convince Standard Liege to trigger the purchase option in his loan deal yet.

Panzo completed a loan move to the Belgian side in the winter transfer window and has admitted he has settled in well.

The defender is keen for more game time, but he has been given his chances at Standard Liege and played in the weekend draw with Sint-Truiden.

Standard Liege have an option contained in the loan to sign Panzo from Nottingham Forest on a permanent basis this summer.

However, according to Belgian daily DH, Panzo has not yet done enough to convince Standard Liege to keep him.

His performances are claimed to be ‘insufficient’ for the Belgians to trigger the purchase clause.

Panzo could still have an opportunity to change minds at Standard Liege as the club have games to come against Leuven, Westerlo, Gent and Mechelen before the end of the season.

The Nottingham Forest defender spent the first half of the season on loan in the Championship at Cardiff City.
