AC Milan look unlikely to make a move for Armando Broja, with Everton considered to be in pole position for the Chelsea star.

Broja, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham, is expected to be sold by Chelsea this summer.

The Albania international has interest from several sides, but Wolves look out of the picture after they signed Jorgen Strand Larsen.

AC Milan are admirers of Broja and have been linked with a swoop for him, but according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, that looks unlikely to happen.

Everton are claimed to be in pole position for Broja and the Rossoneri want a more experienced striker.

They could consider Broja, but the transfer fee likely needed makes that unlikely.

AC Milan advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic has spoken about his admiration for Broja and the player himself has also revealed his adoration for AC Milan.

AC Milan are currently looking to sign a player who will be an automatic starter and they have doubts about Broja filling that role.

Remaining in the Premier League appears the most likely step for Broja at present.
