Tottenham Hotspur could be set to see one of their players move on soon as the club keen on signing him want the deal done within ten days.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is ready to offload surplus stars and the club have already made significant room on the wage bill by moving on the likes of Troy Parrott and Japhet Tanganga.

Full-back Emerson Royal has been another player looking to be on the way out, though the chances of an exit slowed as interested side AC Milan would not meet Spurs’ asking price.

Tottenham’s asking price was around €25m while AC Milan’s first offer for the player was less than half of that figure.

However, talks between the two clubs resumed earlier this week to try and work out a deal for Royal to move to Italy.

According to Italian sports daily Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the two clubs are now close to getting a deal over the line for the transfer.

The distance between the asking price and AC Milan’s offer has come down and there is now an expectation of a deal getting done.

Royal has been patiently waiting for the two clubs to sort out an agreement between themselves.

AC Milan want to close the transfer of the Brazilian within ten days as they put their foot on the accelerator.

He has already agreed personal terms with AC Milan and is prepared to pack his bags for Italy as soon as he gets the green light.
