Everton new boy Armando Broja has hailed the Toffees fans and insisted that he is eager to be on the ‘right side’ of the support.

The Goodison Park outfit snapped up the striker from Chelsea on loan on transfer deadline day after a proposed move to Ipswich Town collapsed.

Broja is out of action due to an injury and the Portman Road side were unwilling to proceed with the terms on offer.

He played at Goodison Park before and stressed that the stadium atmosphere always stood out for him.

Broja admitted that the Everton fanbase are amazing and he is very eager to be on the ‘right side’ of Goodison Park’s intense atmosphere.

“The main thing that stood out for me playing at Goodison in the past was the fans. It was loud. Being on the away team, the atmosphere was remarkable”, the 22-year-old Everton man told his new club’s in-house media.

“It’s special and I can not wait to be on the right side of the fans this time!

“They’re an amazing fanbase and they really love their football.

“Hopefully, I can make a positive impact on them. “

Broja, though, is currently recovering from a foot injury and he will be waiting until next month before he plays at Everton’s home ground.
