Hull City are rivalling Leeds United for the signature of Luton Town left-back Ryan Giles, according to BBC Radio Humberside.
Giles was snapped up by Luton following an impressive loan spell at Middlesbrough and joined the Hatters last summer.
He has struggled to make an impact in the Premier League though and is now being eyed by Championship clubs.
Leeds, who are hunting a left-back, hold an interest in the 23-year-old full-back.
They now face competition from Hull for Giles though, with the Tigers strongly interested in taking him to the MKM Stadium.
Hull also want a left-back and believe that Giles would fit the bill.
Giles has appeared in eleven Premier League games for Luton so far this season, along with playing in the EFL Cup and the FA Cup.
Last term he clocked 47 outings in the Championship for Middlesbrough and chipped in with an impressive eleven assists.
He played the full 90 minutes in both Middlesbrough’s meetings with Hull last season.
