New Sheffield United star Callum O’Hare has revealed that when he talked to Blades’ boss Chris Wilder, he was confident he would succeed at Bramall Lane.
The former Coventry City attacking midfielder joined the freshly relegated Blades this summer in the Championship on a four-year deal.
The Englishman looked in good shape for Sheffield United last night as he scored a goal against Harrogate Town in a friendly match.
The 26-year-old insisted that he knows a few players at Sheffield United, which has helped him settle down easily.
He also admitted that when he spoke to the Blades’ manager he was convinced that he would flourish at Sheffield United.
“Yes, everything. The way he [Wilder] explained it, seemed familiar to me”, O’Hare said to BBC Radio Sheffield when he was asked about Wilder’s role in convincing him to join.
“So I thought I could come in and just flourish here.
“I know a few of the players already which helped too, they know my game.”
O’Hare will be looking to help the Blades achieve promotion straight back to the Premier League in the upcoming season.
