Lazzari is increasingly likely to leave Lazio in the upcoming window as he has struggled to fit into coach Maurizio Sarri’s style of play.

The 28-year-old’s situation at the Rome outfit has seen him put several clubs on alert, with Bologna and Torino interested in signing him, while Antonio Conte’s Spurs have also marked him as a target.

Lazio are open to letting Lazzari leave in January and have put a €15m price tag on his head.

And according to Turin based daily Tuttosport, Torino could enter negotiations with Lazio over Lazzari in the coming days.

Il Toro could propose a player plus cash deal for Lazzari’s services by allowing striker Simone Zaza to join Lazio.

Zaza has only played a bit part role for Torino in Serie A so far this season while Sarri is an admirer of the player.

It remains to be seen whether Torino will touch base with Lazio over Lazzari when the winter window swings open in a week’s time with the likes of Spurs and Bologna also looking on with prying eyes.
