West Ham are looking to offload Scamacca this summer, as the forward failed to impress last season after a big money move from Sassuolo.

Giallorossi sporting director Tiago Pinto has already met with West Ham United representatives to discuss a deal about Scamacca.

Roma are interested in signing the 24-year-old forward on loan, but the Hammers want to cash in on Scamacca this summer.

It has been suggested that West Ham are willing to wait and are confident that they will receive more offers for Scamacca.

The forward is interested in a return to Italy in the ongoing window and a move to Roma intrigues him.

According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are also in no rush to complete the Scamacca deal and are also looking at other options.

Roma are focused more for now on outgoings and see no need to press the accelerator on Scamacca.

Now it remains to be seen whether West Ham will be able to find a suitable taker for Scamacca before the end of the ongoing transfer window.
