Nottingham Forest are set to assess the loan spells of Nuno Tavares and Divock Origi towards the end of the transfer window, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The club have been charged by the Premier League for breaching sustainability rules and are approaching the window cautiously.
They spent heavily in the summer of 2022 following their promotion to the top flight and are now looking to offload a number of fringe players.
Forest are prepared to consider the departures of as many as seven players as they look to balance the books.
They are also set to review the loan deals of Tavares and Origi towards the end of the month.
AC Milan loanee Origi has featured in nine league games overall for the Tricky Trees, though he is yet to make any goal contributions for the Premier League side.
Full-back Tavares, on loan from Arsenal, has, on the other hand, featured in just three league games so far.
New manager Nuno Espirito Santo has a forward and a winger on his wish list, but will have to trim the size of the squad first before thinking about any further additions.
