Sergio Aguero has admitted he is still in the dark over where he will be playing his football next season.

The Argentina striker stated his desire to leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the season and the Vicente Calderon side are open to selling the 23-year-old, but only for €45M.

A number of sides have run the rule over Aguero, however the player’s admission that he wishes to remain in La Liga appeared to leave just Barcelona and Real Madrid as serious options. And a switch to the Camp Nou looks unlikely.

All of which leaves Jose Mourinho’s side in the driving seat – the stumbling block is that Los Blancos will not pay €45M.

"[Lionel] Messi keeps asking me for which team I will play next year", said Aguero.

"I answer that I still do not know anything."

Aguero though hopes there will be some concrete news over his future soon.

"Soon there will be something official to know, and he [Messi] will be amongst the first to know."
