Real Madrid have once again shown an interest in Juventus midfield enforcer Mohamed Sissoko. And it is news that has been welcomed by the player himself.
Jose Mourinho is known to rate Sissoko, having watched the midfielder at close quarters in both Italian and English football.
"I’m flattered by interest from a great club like Real Madrid, playing in La Liga would be something fantastic", Sissoko told Marca.
However, the Mali international was keen to point out that he remains under contract with the Bianconeri, and thus any move would require Real Madrid to agree a fee with Sissoko’s club.
"But I still have a two-year contract with Juventus, a club for which I have great respect."
