Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has admitted that he could leave Stuttgart this summer and return home.

Bought from Zenit St. Petersburg in 2009, Pogrebnyak has scored regularly in German football, though not prolifically, and Stuttgart struggled last term.

And the 27-year-old, who played all his football in Russia before moving to Germany, has admitted that, despite still having time to run on his Stuttgart contract, he could quit the club this summer.

"I still have another year on my contract with Stuttgart, but anything can happen", Pogrebnyak told Sovietsky Sport, although he did admit "I have not received concrete offers."

If the Russian international did decide to leave Stuttgart then there would surely be no shortage of takers from his country’s Premier League.
