Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic has denied that his move to Roma is done and dusted, with the Spaniard determined to enjoy his European Under-21 Championship success first before thinking about his future.

Krkic was a key part of the Spain side that strolled to victory in Denmark, seeing off the challenge of Switzerland in the final last night. For Krkic, it was the perfect end to a season which saw him lift both La Liga and the Champions League with Barcelona.

Yet a move to Roma looks close to completion, for a fee of about €10M, with Barcelona retaining a buy-back clause for the youngster. The presence of former Barcelona B coach Luis Enrique in the Giallorossi dugout has also helped to smooth matters.

But Krkic was in no mood to confirm that everything is done in the wake of Spain’s success.

"You cannot say that everything is already done and now I’m a Giallorossi player", said Krkic.

"Now I’m thinking about celebrating with my team-mates and then I’ll return to Barcelona."
