Former Arsenal youngster Guy Demel is pushing for a move back to England.
Now 30 years old, the Ivory Coast right back landed at Arsenal in 2000, remaining for 12 months without making a first team appearance, before leaving for Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
And in Germany Demel has remained and built a solid career; he now turns out for Hamburg after switching from Dortmund in 2005.
However, the Ivorian’s time in English football has left a long-lasting impression on the defender and ten years after his departure, Demel is pushing to return to England.
"My desire is to move back to England", said the Hamburg man.
"My agent is talking with some clubs to make my dream come true."
