Jose Mourinho has revealed that he wants to add another striker to his Real Madrid squad before the start of the new season.

Los Blancos are currently in the United States for a pre-season training camp and will also meet David Beckham’s Los Angeles Galaxy in a star-studded friendly.

But even if preparation for a make-or-break season in La Liga for Mourinho is at the top of the Portuguese’s agenda, his thoughts have also drifted towards an area he still believes Madrid are light in – the attack.

"We have recruited players we thought were important to complete a team that is already very strong", said the former Inter coach.

"But in my opinion, and also that of everyone else, we still lack a player, a striker."

Real Madrid have been linked with Santos forward Neymar and Atletico Madrid hitman Sergio Aguero, however as yet there is no news on a potential attacking arrival.
