In demand this summer following his parting from Spanish side Hercules, veteran striker David Trezeguet has received a lucrative offer from Russia.

The 33-year-old is keen to play in his homeland of France next season, but would change those plans if Barcelona, mooted as pondering a move, were to make him an offer.

Now though the former Juventus man has some serious thinking to do after Terek Grozny sent a proposal his way.

The Russian Premier League side are prepared to pay Trezeguet a total of €7M per season if he agrees to make the switch.

Such a vast final pay day will no doubt be tempting to the former France international striker.

Clubs like Marseille and Nice however, with both having expressed their desire to sign the hitman, will hope Trezeguet rejects Terek’s proposal.
