Fulham are expected to seal a deal with Juventus for defender Zdenek Grygera in the next two days.

Grygera has been linked with an exit from the Italian giants for much of the summer after struggling to command a place in the side last season and his future now appears to be at Craven Cottage.

The 31-year-old played under Fulham boss Martin Jol at Ajax and left a lasting impression on the Dutchman.

And Grygera looks to have jumped at the chance to join Fulham, with the defender believed to be excited at the prospect of playing in the English Premier League.

Jol will also be delighted to snap up the Czech star.
