Liverpool are showing interest in signing Feyenoord centre-back David Hancko in the ongoing transfer window.

The 26-year-old Slovakia international defender joined the Dutch outfit in the summer of 2022 from Sparta Prague.

Hancko has established himself as a key part of the Feyenoord team and has started every league game for the Eredivisie club this season.

His performances are attracting interest from all over Europe and French giants Paris Saint-Germain are keen on landing him.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Liverpool have joined the race for Hancko and want to take him to Anfield in the ongoing window.

Liverpool are currently at the top of the Premier League table and Jurgen Klopp wants to beef up his defence to strengthen their title hopes.

The Reds would have to dig deep in their pockets to land the 26-year-old, as Feyenoord have slapped a €45m price tag on his head.

It has been suggested that Feyenoord would prefer to keep Hancko at the club in January and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool are ready to match their high asking price for the defender.
