Fixture: Celtic vs St Johnstone
Competition: Scottish Premiership
Kick-off: 15:00 UK time
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has selected his starting eleven and substitutes to welcome St Johnstone to Parkhead in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
Rodgers knows if his side can live up to their favourites tag and take all three points then they will jump to the top of the league table in advance of Rangers playing tomorrow.
While Celtic beat St Johnstone 3-1 in December, the last meeting between the two sides at Celtic Park, in August, finished in a 0-0 draw.
St Johnstone won their last match on the road, beating strugglers Aberdeen 1-0, but prior to that lost at St Mirren and Dundee.
Celtic have Joe Hart in goal this afternoon, while Rodgers picks a back four of Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Stephen Welsh and Greg Taylor.
Midfield sees Celtic play Tomoki Iwata, Paulo Bernardo and Matt O’Riley, with the goal threat in the final third carried by Nicolas Kuhn, Daizen Maeda and Kyogo Furuhashi.
Rodgers can look to his bench to shake things up if needed and his options include James Forrest and Adam Idah.
