Manchester United are expected to improve their offer for Brighton target Ferdi Kadioglu in the coming days, it has been claimed in Turkey.

Jose Mourinho has indicated that the decision on the future of Kadioglu at Fenerbahce does not rest upon him.

Brighton are pushing hard to secure a deal for the signature of the 24-year-old left-back in the ongoing transfer window.

The Seagulls have tabled a bid worth €35m and it is the best offer Fenerbahce have so far received despite Manchester United also making an official bid.

However, according to Turkish daily Milliyet, Manchester United are likely to table an improved offer in the ‘coming days’.

Manchester United are about to finalise the arrivals of Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt today.

With Luke Shaw still not fit to start the season, Manchester United could look to bring in a new left-back and they admire Kadioglu.

Despite the need for a defensive midfielder, Manchester United could look to compete with Brighton for the signature of the Turkish full-back in the final two weeks of the window.
