Galatasaray have made an offer for Lyon midfielder Kim Kallstrom – but will need to double it to tempt the French side into selling the Swede.
While Kallstrom is available from the Stade Gerland club, Lyon are looking for a minimum of €4M, while Galatasaray have offered just €2M.
Offloading Kallstrom would make sense to Lyon who are keen to shift his large salary off the books, however they will not consent to his departure for less than they believe he is worth.
The 28-year-old has interested Galatasaray for some time, with the Turkish club also looking closely at a move for the midfielder last summer.
Now though that interest has firmed up as the Istanbul side look to reshape their team for a Turkish Super Lig title challenge next season.
