Edinson Cavani’s agent has admitted that there is interest in his client from both Spain and England, but insisted that for the moment the Uruguayan is happy to remain with Napoli.

The striker enjoyed a superb season in Serie A in the last campaign, scoring goals for fun and helping Napoli to a third place finish and Champions League football. His exploits caught the eye of a number of bigger clubs, but there is little suggestion Napoli would consider selling.

And Cavani too is not looking to move, insists the player’s agent.

"It’s a beautiful story", Pierpaolo Triulzi told Sportitalia.

"Edi hopes to spend another year just like the one that’s just finished.

"Despite much interest from Spain and England, we are happy to be in Naples", confirmed Triulzi, although adding: "But in the future you never know."
