Slovenian striker Tim Matavz is edging closer towards completing his dream switch to PSV Eindhoven.

Matavz current club Groningen have been firm in their demands for the 22-year-old, placing him out of reach of PSV.

However, talks have continued and sources in Holland believe an agreement between the two clubs for the €7M-rated striker is imminent.

Once an agreement is in place between the two Dutch sides, a transfer will proceed quickly.

Matavz himself has already sketched out the terms of a contract with PSV and a five-year deal will be signed by the striker.

The Slovenian joined Groningen in 2007 and became the youngest ever player to score three goals for his country when in 2010, he bagged a hat-trick against the Faroe Islands.
