Manchester United have let Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang know through few intermediaries that he is on their shortlist of targets for the summer.

The 27-year-old striker has again been in terrific form this season for Dortmund, scoring 37 goals in all competitions, but is expected to leave the Westfalenstadion in the coming months.

There are suggestions that the striker is considering an offer to join a Chinese Super League side in the summer, but he has offers to join big European outfits too.

AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are two of the clubs who are interested in snapping up the Dortmund striker and it seems he also has suitors in the Premier League too.

According to French sports daily L'Equipe, intermediaries, on behalf of Manchester United, have initiated talks with the Gabon striker's representatives and have informed them that Aubameyang features on Jose Mourinho’s shortlist of targets.
