Everton boss Sean Dyche has claimed that the Toffees are under no pressure to sell players this month.

The Toffees received a ten-point deduction this season due to failing to meet profit and sustainability regulations.

In the ongoing window, a host of Everton players have been linked with a move away from the club, with a growing concern regarding a second charge of violating PSR rules this season.

However, Dyche claimed that Everton are not under pressure to sell players due to their off the field financial issues and stressed that they want to keep their best players at the club.

The Everton boss also admitted that, knowing the tricky circumstances the club are in, they will also try to find ways to get deals done if they find the right player.

When asked whether Everton are under pressure to sell players due to their financial situation, Dyche said at a press conference: “No, not certainly what I am aware of at this moment in time.

“Certainly, nothing has provided me with that thought.

“We want to keep all the best players here and the best we can do is make sure we try, even though the tricky circumstances are clear, try kind of at least to manage the group we have and then build on it where we can if the right situation occurs where there can be some form of getting a deal done.”

Everton are in the relegation battle and despite being linked with several players, they have yet to sign anyone in the ongoing window.
