Arsenal will not try to hijack a deal for West Ham United target Ibrahim Osman in the closing stages of the window, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

West Ham boss David Moyes is desperate to bring in forward reinforcements before the window closes.

The Hammers have identified Nordsjaelland’s Osman as one of the suitable candidates, but progress has been slow.

However, they are not the only Premier League club in the hunt for Osman, as Brighton are also interested in acquiring his services.

Nordsjaelland want £20m to let the forward leave and West Ham are reluctant to meet the Danish club’s price tag.

And it has been suggested that Arsenal have joined the race and are planning to seal a deal for Osman.

But it has been claimed that the Gunners have no intention of hijacking a deal for the West Ham target.

West Ham are in discussions with Nordsjaelland to find a solution for the 19-year-old’s future.

The Hammers are likely to fail in their attempt to bring Jota at the London Stadium and they could be determined to seal a deal for Osman.
