Ipswich Town are still interested in signing Sheffield Wednesday left-sided star Marvin Johnson this month, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The Tractor Boys are eyeing promotion this season and they want to strengthen McKenna’s options in the ongoing window.
Sheffield Wednesday’s Johnson is one of the players Ipswich are interested in bringing in this month.
The Owls have themselves been chasing additions this month and a move away for Johnson has not been signed off on.
As the clock ticks down on the transfer window, Ipswich do remain interested in signing Johnson though.
McKenna considers the 33-year-old experienced midfielder to be a good fit in the Tractor Boys squad.
Johnson has been claimed to be keen to make the move.
Now that the transfer window is set to close on Thursday, it remains to be seen whether Ipswich will be able to convince the Owls to approve an exit for the player.
