Southampton boss Russell Martin admits he has plenty of selection headaches going into this weekend’s meeting with Watford.
Saints are due to play host to Tom Cleverley’s men, who will arrive at St Mary’s on the back of keeping a clean sheet against an attacking Ipswich Town team on Wednesday.
Martin will target breaking through a stubborn Hornets’ outfit and admits he has a lot players who feel they should be in the team.
The Southampton boss admits he has a big headache when it comes to picking the eleven that will go onto the pitch, but is clear it is part of the job.
“I have got loads of headaches”, Martin told a press conference.
“Everyone feels like they should be playing and they should be.
“It’s not easy but it’s part of the job, and everyone will contribute between now and the end of the season.”
Saints look like they will have to settle for a playoff spot in the Championship this season as they are ten points off the automatic promotion spots, even though they do boast two games in hand.
