New Nottingham Forest forward Jota Silva is flying back to Portugal to say his goodbyes to the Vitoria Guimaraes fans, according to Sky Sports News.

The Tricky Trees have been very busy in the summer transfer window in terms of incomings and outgoings.

Portuguese international winger Jota is the latest addition to their squad; he played for Portuguese outfit Vitoria Guimaraes.

The versatile forward can play anywhere up front and he contributed to 22 goals last season in 42 all-competition matches.

The 25-year-old forward has signed a four-year deal with the Premier League side and is now flying back to Portugal.

His former team Vitoria Guimaraes will face Floriana in their Europa Conference League qualifier second leg and it has been suggested that Jota will bid his farewell to his former team-mates and fans.

It has been suggested that he will meet his close family before he returns to England on Sunday to join his new team-mates.

Jota will be looking to play in a Nottingham Forest shirt next Thursday when the Tricky Trees face Olympiacos in a friendly game.
