Inter Milan are looking to finalise and seal a deal to sign Thomas Ince from Blackpool “over the coming days."

Ince’s contract with Blackpool expires at the end of this month and Inter have shown an interest in signing the Englishman this summer.

The 22-year-old was in Milan on Sunday with his father Paul Ince, who played for Manchester United, Liverpool and Inter, to discuss a potential move to Italy this summer.

Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio has said no deal has been finalised to sign the English winger but confirmed that the talks between the two parties have been positive.

"The player came to Milan because he wanted to have a look at everything for himself”, Ausilio told the club’s official site.

"We made the most of the weekend that he decided to spend in Milan with his family.”

The Nerazzurri hierarchy expects a deal to be finalised to bring Ince to Milan in the near future.

"We've laid some foundations, now we'll see if we're able to close the deal over the coming days."

Ince clocked up 23 appearances for Blackpool in the Championship, scoring seven goals and providing six assists.

The 22-year-old joined Crystal Palace in January on a loan deal until the end of the season and made eight appearances for the Eagles in the Premier League.
