Wolves midfielder Dave Edwards admits that scoring a late winner against Leeds United was one of the best feelings of his career.

The 30-year-old midfielder has been picked to feature against Leeds today, when Garry Monk’s men take to the pitch at Molineux and he has revealed that one of his best moments of his career as a Wolves player also came against the Whites.




Wolves and Leeds played out a thrilling game at Molineux last year in April and Richards played a defining part when he scored an 88th goal to win the game 4-3 in favour of the home side.

Scoring in front of a big crowd at Molineux, the veteran midfielder admits that it was one of the best moments of his career as a Wolves player.
 


He told the club’s official website: “The win at Molineux against Leeds that was a great occasion.

“It was an Easter Monday game, a big crowd and everyone was feeling gutted after we conceded two goals.

“To score in the 88th minute was amazing.

“That was one of the best feelings I’ve had in a Wolves shirt.”

Wolves and Leeds played out another high scoring encounter at Molineux in December last year, but this time the Whites came out on top with a 3-2 scoreline.
