Liverpool are considering a €22m swoop for Red Bull Salzburg striker Munas Dabbur ahead of the January transfer window.

Sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table, Liverpool could dip into their funds in January in order to add more strength and depth to their squad in January

A striker could be on Jurgen Klopp’s wish list he looks to have more back-up in his squad in order to compensate for injuries and suspensions in the second half of the season.

And it has been claimed that the Reds have turned their eyes towards Austria to get a solution next month.

According to Swiss daily Blick, Red Bull Salzburg striker Dabbur has emerged as a target for Liverpool ahead of the start of the January window.

The Israel international has already netted 20 goals in all competitions this season and has managed to pop up on the radar of a few clubs in Europe due to his performances in Austria.

Liverpool are said to be considering making an offer him as part of their plans to bring in a new attacker next month.

Red Bull Salzburg are unlikely to appreciate any offers for their top striker in the middle of the season and he still has more than two years left to run on his contract.

Dabbur also has eleven international caps to his name for Israel.
